weekend was packed with two big events… NDP and Olympics

Olympics opening ceremony on Friday night. I have to say I really am impressed with China for putting together such a great display. I totally adored the Fireworks display… especially the part where they had 28 giant footprints shot into the sky like some giant marching towards the Stadium. At least for me its something I’ve never seen before so I find it extremely creative. I think each footprint represented the previous Olympics held in the past. If I’m correct this should be the 29th round of the Olympics.

Maybe because of the awesome Fireworks display as mentioned above, the NDP fireworks seemed to pale in comparison. Everything was like so messy (maybe cause not enough space?) and not to mention smoky as well. So much that the smoke was actually blocking the view of the fireworks that came later. However, the various performances I think still quite nice la, especially the aerial acrobatics.

P.S.  -  Damn… never tio the $8m Toto on Friday. damn sad. haha… oh well try again next time.
