After the earthquake, rescuers found a body of a woman under the debris, she was faced down in a weird position. When they turned her over, they found a baby alive in her arms. And in the cloths used to cover the baby, they found a hand phone that had this message typed in:
“My dearest baby. If you are still alive. I want you to know that I love you.”
The last words of a mother to the one person she loved most in this world. One whom she would willingly give her life up unconditionally. Such is the power of motherly love, that not even the force of an earthquake can defeat.
It would be inhuman to say that one is not affected at all after reading this news. Being born into a religion, I can only believe what I have been taught from young. And all I can do is to pray for all these departed souls, that they may find peace in their afterlife.
Pray for Faith.
Pray for Hope.
Eternal Rest Grant Unto Them O Lord, And Let Perpetual Light Shine Upon Them.
May They Rest In Peace.
