watched two movies today…

“P.S. I Love You”, and “Ah Long Pte Ltd”.

“P.S. I Love You” was rather disappointing… not as touching as I expected it to be. story is about a husband dying due to brain tumor but he planned a series of letters to be sent to the wife after his death, and the letters served to help his wife to be strong and get on with life. Quite inspiring but I would rather have more sad scenes.

“Ah Long Pte Ltd” was more entertaining of course. At first not very keen on watching this movie… cos it so obviously plagiarized from another movie starring Shu Qi [My Wife is a Gangster]. And best of all is I heard that Jack Neo denied this act of plagiarism and insisted he never watched the ‘original’ movie before. Please, [My Wife is a Gangster] had three movies in total. Even if he really did not watch any one of them, surely one of his production team/crew would have told him about the extreme similarity in concept between the two productions… but anyhow… it was a funnier version, some parts really laugh until stomach cramps. Can go watch if you really have the time…

didn’t expect the show to be so funny la… at first is my cousin ask me go one… then I seriously thought it will be a tad too boring for me… but so damn funny ok! now I’m asking myself why I never watched it the first time they performed. My cousin watched Beauty World and said this is 100x nicer…

anyway this time it was titled “History of Singapore”, so they started enacting how Singapore was discovered and all. At first I thought it would be boring cos we have already read about our history in school like a gazillion times, but they really added in a lot of things that you wouldn’t quite expect. And of course they made it so damn funny! (and Hossan Leong is one bloody good comedian)

too bad the show only have three more days left… and tickets are almost sold out… if not I sure pester people go watch… lol

cool movie! worth watching among all the other movies out there… but some parts quite gory so I don’t really like… other that that quite good la… whole movie on L… those fans out there sure happy like siao…

oh ya… they gave cool chocolate too… haha… is it can only last for 23 days???

P.S. Don’t bother staying after credits to watch the so-called how he ‘died’… that clip only lasted like 5 seconds… and doesn’t even show him die at all… unless you’re really that free…
