we went to the zoo on saturday!
had lunch at subway first before taking bus 138. it’s really convenient, took only around 20mins from AMK to reach.
the last time I went to the zoo was many years back. can’t even remember how it looks like now. so I was quite pleased with the way the entrance has changed. its much more ‘zoo-like’ and more well-furnished. we bought tickets and chionged in to catch the polar bear feeding.
wanted to watch la… but it was so crowded cos there was some excursion by some school and they crowded the whole area up so we couldn’t do anything and we decided to skip that and walk ourselves.. so fun to watch all the animals, especially those you don’t see very often except like on animal planet.
the baby rhino was dam cute la! keeps sniffing around or something then kept following its mum around.
the lions were super lazy, when the zoo keepers threw meat at them they refused to budge… and I thought I was lazy, well I guess I’ll never be too lazy to eat!
these things just gave us the goosebumps when we saw them.. like hundreds of them in behind that glass.. wonder what will happen if the glass breaks.. gg to everyone in that room.
the bats there are huge. and look at those teeth! we even saw one bat pissing upside down. LoL!

don’t know whether this is a raccoon or what… looks like one to me.. and one silly angmoh was actually patting it while it was sitting there. he heng never tio bite by the creature.

super cute meerkats!!! I didn’t expect to see them at the zoo. maybe I watched too much animal planet and thought they only existed in the wild.
the white tigers are damn cool. at least not as lazy as the lions, they were willing to like leap up and grab the meat that the keepers threw at them.
LOL. allison caught this super funny shot of a Hamadrayas Baboon. he’s actually leaping up to catch a banana that was thrown at him.
most venomous land snake in the world: the Taipan.
we’re all waiting anxiously for the elephant show to begin.. but alas.. the thunderstorm came and the show was canceled… boooo!
well at least they let the elephants out after a while when the rain was lighter so we could watch them play around.

fucking weird creature! I can’t even say what it resembles… looks totally alien to me… but should be some sort of monkey.
a giant tortoise.. looks to me like its drying up on the sand… lol
this squirrel is damn cute. it’s called a variable squirrel (don’t ask me why though). but its so damn cute cos its fur is all white!

and lastly, a nice little white bird, can’t really confirm whether its a dove though.

came back to AMK for dinner at KFC. then we went to the arcade. had loads of fun playing daytona. 7 of us even ganged up on an outsider who decided to join us for a couple of games. lol we so evil.
gonna go vivocity to get free B&J cone tomorrow! can’t wait.. hehehe
