Happy New Year (stfu slutwhorebitch)

damn I was sick the whole day yesterday, had fever and flu, thank god the medicine helped me recover fast if not it’ll spoil my whole CNY mood even further…

rayson had to get a new motherboard so we met at Sim Lim Square first to hunt down a suitable one… after walking many rounds we finally managed to get it at Skylet for only $87! literally he spent only $87 for a ‘new’ CPU cos the other parts were all kio-ed from Jason

had lunch at the basement food court of Sim Lim, the Nasi Lemak and popiah is really nice! although a bit pricey but I think its worth it to go eat once in a while.. forgot to take pictures cos was quite hungry.. haha

we had a walk over to bugis via bugis street, very long never go there liao and its still as hot as ever and the walkways are as narrow as ever.. wonder when they will ever make the whole place air-conditioned, can definitely attract more people..

we walked around bugis for a while, going many places to see clothes and bags and stuff, we even went to the toy section to see how toys have evolved over the years (LOL)

presenting the bouncing tigger! you can have hours of endless fun with this guy, just looking at it bounce up and down will immediately relieve all your stress during the day. also comes with various sounds to make your day an enjoyable one.

and the Bob the Builder construction vehicle set! press the button on Bob and the truck will move! bob will also give commands and sing songs!

its a wonder how they come up with such ideas, there’s even a ninja pooh now.. think its trying to imitate the teenage mutant ninja turtles..

we even went to the kiddy arcade la, really all kiddy games there, and these guys seem to be enjoying their time relieving their wonderful childhood memories…

we then headed over to Wiwocity (again for the second time this week and yes, Wiwo=Vivo). again we had more jacket trying at Adidas before heading over to Puma, arden bought a new pair of Puma tempo shoes, very nice green colour and its quite comfy too.. most importantly got 10% discount (lol he was delighted to hear that). I wanted to get a nice Puma polo tee, but the $60 price kinda deterred me from my decision, think I’ve spent enough already..

we walked over to Harbourfront Centre foodcourt to study cos its always kinda empty so we thought we wouldn’t be disturbed there, much to our surprise the music they were playing there kinda took 50% of our attention away, they were actually playing CNY songs, but the people are singing in ENGLISH. NOT ONLY THAT, but the lyrics are STUPIDIOTIC, I think the translater they hired must have been a drop-out or something… imagine hearing a CNY song in english that contains the following lines:

  • “someone up there’s coming down”
  • “you can have all that you want, you can have all that you need”
  • ” Happy New Year, Happy New Year, Happy New Year” (it goes on and on)

so… PLEASE play the chinese versions, they’re much more pleasant on the ears…

the other 50% of our attention goes to a series of smses that cam received, think we laughed non-stop for 1min each time he got one sms. here’s some advice for the public, if you don’t like someone who keeps pestering you, just send him/her a sms saying “stfu slutwhorebitch” I think they’ll get the meaning…

so in the end no studying was done, only went through a few tutorial questions and one past year question,we spent almost 80% of our time there laughing/eating/talking/singing.

I think I’ll be gettin that polo tee after all, if I have the time to go down to Wiwo again… its simple but nice la, don’t understand why they must price it at $60… zzz

Happy New Year!

P.S. to the food court management at Harbourfront centre, if you allow your workers to take naps during working hours then its fine with me.. if not…
